Many of the swords listed below are SHARP and are made of tempered steel.
The activities of partner training with or without sword-to-sword contact, Tameshigiri (test cutting), Matogiri (target cutting) or other similar activities are dangerous and the purchaser accepts all liability for any injury including death and/or damage to property resulting from these activities.

The Water Song Wushu Broadsword has an ultra-flexible high-carbon blade, tapering to almost paper-thin at the tip. At 450 grams in weight, the sword is very quick and the “Water Song” (caused by vibrating the blade) is very audible.

The Practical Gungfu Broadsword is a further extension of the Hanwei “Practical” Series. Featuring a distal-tapered high carbon steel blade, wrapped grip and steel fittings. The saber is a traditional ox-tail design. The textured wooden scabbards are designed with slotted openings, which makes both for easy sheathing and graceful lines. In line with other swords in the “Practical” series, the Practical Gongfu Broadsword is very affordable.

The Ox-Tail Dao is undoubtedly one of the best weapon-grade swords of its type commercially available. Unlike the many decorative and theatrical versions of this sword, the Hanwei product is a true replica of the originals. The saber is a traditional ox-tail design. The distal-tapered blade and traditional hand-tied grip make for excellent handling. A brass-mounted scabbard is included.

These Butterfly Swords (or Eight-Cutting Swords) Sets feature high-carbon tempered steel blades with traditional dragon engraving. The set features leather wrapped grips and steel guards, decorated in a dragon motif. This same motif is repeated on the fittings of the double scabbard. The set includes a wall plaque for displaying the swords.
